Verdict
The IWI Tavor TAR21 is the civilian semi-automatic descendant of the bullpup rifle adopted by the Israel Defence Forces in 2003. Canada bought the Tavor in two distinct populations: sport shooters who wanted a non-AR bullpup competition rifle, and Canadian shooters of various political persuasions who specifically wanted the IDF lineage on their range card. Both populations are now Already Gone. The rubric scores the Tavor 12/15 — clean Already Gone reading even without the named clause. SOR/2024-248 named it alongside the X95, the Tavor 7, and the Tavor SAR — IWI's entire civilian rifle line in one stroke.
