Sero International in Hungary produces the platform primarily for military and law-enforcement export; the civilian semi-automatic variants exist for the extreme-long-range precision-shooting market at correspondingly extreme prices. The Canadian market for the GM6 was always small — under fifty units imported in total, mostly to specialty precision-shooting clubs and a few wealthy collectors. SOR/2024-248 named the GM6 Lynx on December 5, 2024. The rubric reads 14/15 — one of the highest scores on the Index, sitting one point below the Ruger Mini-14 (pilots, 14/15) and one point below the Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 (Batch 1, 15/15).
