The Hunt Group FD12 is one of three Turkish bullpup shotguns that defined Canada's sport-shotgun and 3-Gun competition segment between roughly 2019 and 2025. Inertia-operated, detachable box magazine, bullpup layout, sub-$1,500 CAD retail — the FD12 hit a price-to-performance band that competing US-made and Italian-made shotguns couldn't reach. Canadian 3-Gun shooters used it for stage one of the discipline (long shotgun positions) on the strength of its 5+1 capacity and quick magazine changes. SOR/2025-86 named the FD12 alongside the Derya MK10 and the Uzkon Typhoon ARS12 on March 7, 2025 — every Turkish bullpup shotgun on the Canadian market in one stroke. The Lever Arms LA-K12 Puma, the older Chinese-made bullpup shotgun, was named in the same Order in Council. The shotgun-class expansion of the Index begins with these four entries.
