The Kel-Tec Sub-2000 was the answer to a question Canadian shooters had been asking for two decades: a folding, light, accurate pistol-caliber carbine that took commonly-available pistol magazines and disappeared into a backpack. Three generations of the platform, each refining the same idea. Available across every major Canadian retailer at a price point that put a first PCC in reach of new shooters. SOR/2024-248 named it on December 5, 2024 alongside seventeen other Kel-Tec platforms — the entire civilian Kel-Tec catalogue went in one stroke.
