ISSC Handels is an Austrian firearms manufacturer that produced rimfire training rifles designed specifically as visual-clones of centrefire platforms — the MK22 styled after the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun, the TXR22 styled after the FN SCAR centrefire rifle. Canadian shooters who owned the centrefire platforms bought the corresponding rimfire trainer for high-volume practice at a fraction of the cost. SOR/2024-248 named both on December 5, 2024 alongside the Anschütz MSR RX22 (Batch 5) — the OIC reached the entire visual-clone rimfire trainer segment in one Order. The rubric scores 10/15: same named-clause band as the Anschütz, same regulatory reasoning. Two of the three major visual-clone rimfire trainer makers on the Canadian market are now Already Gone (the GSG family in Batch 1's lineage notes plus Anschütz plus ISSC). The Beretta ARX160 .22 LR (Batch 2) was the fourth.
